The Wales Ecology & Evolution Network (WEEN) is a student-run annual conference which aims to promote post-graduate research and create a networking platform for early-career scientists at Welsh Universities. It is great to be back together to share, connect with, and enjoy the varied Ecology and Evolution research being carried out by ECRs in Wales.

We hope our broad theme of ecology and evolution relates to many working in biosciences and encourages participants from diverse subject fields. We are so pleased to be able to welcome you to WEEN.

Registration fee depends on ticket type (including accommodation and meals). Travel costs are not included, though reps may arrange for group transport from each university. Depending on your type of funding, it is likely you will have travel funding available to pay for your attendance to the conference. Ask your supervisor or contact the WEEN representative for your university, we’d be happy to help 😊 If you are an early career researcher (aka, minimum at you first postDoc) based in Wales, the Learning Society of Wales has kindly offered travel bursaries to attend the conference.
